Tofu Dreams
Tofu Dreams is a piece I created for my Portfolio Development course at the Visual Arts Passage, under guidance of John English and Dale Stephanos. The piece features Tofu, a young Mexican girl who wants to achieve great things, but sees herself facing the problems of a young student in Mexico City. The topics of rest, sleep, dreams, death play a big role in this digital painting aimed at the editorial publishing industry. While creating it, I was thinking a lot about what all of these concepts I mentioned have in common.
